What this quote means to me is that once we get used to being obedient all the time it wont be a hassle to be obedient anymore. You will be used to choosing the right and following orders and laws. It wont be a hassle to follow directions anymore because you are used to following the rules. If you do not choose the right and don't follow the rules then it will be a hassle to follow the rules.
