Duties and Responsibilities:
As a video
game tester you have to find problems in games and or coding. Video game or product testers may also be known as quality
control inspectors. These professionals verify that products meet certain
standards, and testers try out products to determine if there are any flaws.
For example, video game testers play games specifically to look for problems,
such as program glitches, broken applications or non-functioning visual effects.
Education:
College Degree
is required. Though there is no formal degree in video game
testing, employers may look for testers with a degree in computer science,
computer programming or graphic design. Having a degree in these subjects may
give some testers the edge over testers who don't have an educational

Salary: Video game tester
salaries start around $18,000 and top out around $55,000 annually for
experienced lead testers.
