On
September 11, 2001 terrorists hijacked airline planes and crashed them into the
World Trade Center aka the Twin Towers. The first airplane hit the North Tower
at 8:46 a.m. At 9:03 a.m. the South Tower was hit by another hijacked
plane. Another plane had attacked the
pentagon at 9:36 a.m. and had destroyed the first floor of the complex.
Al-Qaida was the group of terrorists that had hijacked the airline and attacked
America.
I believe that what the terrorists did that day is horrible. They killed a lot of innocent people and scarred our nation. This makes me feel bad inside because a lot of innocent people died and also a lot of firefighters gave their lives to help and save the people trapped in the wreckage.
