What this means to me is that being a good person is far more better than being a good basketball player. Having good sportsmanship is far better than being good at basketball and always wanting to win. John Wooden emphasized the importance of being a good person and not just being a good player. He wanted his players to always choose the right and be good individuals. As a result they became better players and won a lot of basketball games. If you choose to do the wrong then they would have lost the games and been bad individuals.

What this means to me is that our duties throughout the day make us obedient or not obedient. It depends on what you do. If you choose to follow the rules and do your obligations then you are obedient. If you choose not the obey and do the wrong thing then you will be seen as a non-obedient person. For example, if you pay attention to the teacher and also wear your uniform to school you will be seen as an obedient person. An example of non-obedient people is a kid who doesn't pay attention to his elders.

This statement is trying to say that when you do something right you feel good about it. When you do bad you feel bad inside. When you do good you feel proud of yourself. When you do good you feel proud of yourself and are happy and feel good. An example of doing good and feeling good is opening the door for a person.

What this quote is trying to say is that you have to be obedient to have more freedom in life. If you are not obedient then you will be deprived of your freedom and put in jail. The key to freedom is to be very obedient to your elders and superiors. If you are obedient then you will be successful in life. If not then you will be put in jail or worse.

9/11 Memorials 

On September 11, 2001 terrorists hijacked airline planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center aka the Twin Towers. The first airplane hit the North Tower at 8:46 a.m. At 9:03 a.m. the South Tower was hit by another hijacked plane.  Another plane had attacked the pentagon at 9:36 a.m. and had destroyed the first floor of the complex. Al-Qaida was the group of terrorists that had hijacked the airline and attacked America.

I believe that what the terrorists did that day is horrible. They killed a lot of innocent people and scarred our nation. This makes me feel bad inside because a lot of innocent people died and also a lot of firefighters gave their lives to help and save the people trapped in the wreckage.
