Memorial Day

It is a day to commemorate the soldiers that died while on duty. It is usually celebrated on May 30th but is now celebrated on the last Monday of May. The purpose is to give thanks to our fallen soldiers and give thanks by celebrating their hard work. You can honor the dead by going to cemeteries or memorial sites. Veterans and Memorial day are two different things. Memorial day you commemorate the fallen men and women who served in the armed forces. Veterans day celebrates the people who are in the armed forces currently or those who were in it.

What this quote means to me is that people don't always win in life. It is better to be true. To always do the right thing. Also to affiliate with people who do the right thing. Don't hang around bad people. Don't become those bad people. Be a good person in life and do the right thing. If people around you do the wrong thing then you do the opposite and do the right thing. Always be a person of good character. If you do the wrong thing then you will get in trouble and be punished. If you do the right thing then you will be successful and happy and also will be rewarded for your kind acts.

“A Promise must never be broken.”-Alexander Hamilton

What this quote is trying to say is to never ever break a promise. You should never break a promise you make to someone. It is bad to lie and not complete your promises. If you lie and don't do what you promise to do then no one will ever believe you when you tell them something. They will lose confidence in you. They will see that you're the type of person who says they'll do something and not end up doing it. Promises should always be completed. Don't say a promise if you know you will not complete them. Don't go back on your word. It is bad to lie and not complete your promises.

What this quote means to me is that having a good character is better than being smart in life. If you are smart but have a bad character than you can get in trouble and go to jail. If you have great character than you will never have to worry about doing the wrong thing in life.

What this quote means to me is that if you are always kind and do the right thing then it will never backfire. You have to always do the right thing in life and it will never go wrong. If you invest in bad things then you will not prosper. On the other hand if you invest in good things in life then you will be rewarded and will have a successful life. You have to always invest in good things so that you can get good things in life. If you don't then you will be miserable and things will backfire. You will never fail if you choose to invest in good.

What this quote means is that if you give your word of honor you should keep that promise. That is because that promise can change many things in your life. Just the fact that is says your word of honor means something big. I think it means that you are willing to trade your honor for a promise. This is so that people will see you are trustworthy. However if don't keep that promise, people will see that you can't be trusted. Then no one will want to be around you or talk to you. People will see that you were willing to give up your honor for nothing because you didn't keep your promise. For example you promised your mom that you would bring the eggs to her without a single on cracked or dropped. However on the way home you decide to play basketball with some friends you saw. you left the eggs on the bench and someone fell on them. Now you mom wont trust you to ever do anythying important for her.

What this quote means to me is that If you plan good goals for yourself and do the right thing then you will be rewarded.What this quote means is that no matter what your set as your goals that you really want and keep on thinking or believing you want it then sooner or later the goals you wanted will soon fall and get to you. It’s another way of saying follow your dreams and never give up on then no matter what happened or what people say. You need to plan out your goals or wishes out good because then your life could change forever.

What this quote means to me is that people should have enough courage and character to do the right thing when the moment becomes opportune. It is a great thing when people do the right thing without having to ask someone to do it. You should have enough good will to be able to do the right thing at the right time. Do not follow others. If you know something is right then do it immediately. If you know something is wrong quickly avoid it and don't be apart of any of it. You have to be able to do the right thing at the right time whenever an opportunity comes. You shouldn't stop doing the right thing just because others don't do it or it isn't “cool”. You do the right thing simply because it is the right thing to do.

What this quote means to me is that to do the right thing in life to raise your character. If you do the wrong thing than you have bad character. If you do the right thing your good character will increase. It will make you a better person. It's the reward for doing the right thing. Doing the right thing has a reward of raising your integrity and dignity and also self esteem. Character is what matters most in life.

“You knew what I was when you picked me up”-Rattlesnake

The indian had climbed up on the top of the mountain. He had found a snake and it was asking for help. The indian did not want  to help because he was gonna get bit and die of poisoning. The snake was persuasive and the indian took it down the mountain. As soon as he put the snake down the snake bit him and the indian was hurt. The snake left and the indian died.

Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurs are people who make an everyday tool or object and market it to make money. They make a business and invest on their item. They take great financial risk by doing so. They risk that their “million dollar idea” might fail and go wrong. Or it simply might not sell as much as they hoped. Leaving them in great debt or bankrupt. On the other hand they could gain money and sell/make profit. After that they can invest money and/or get people to invest in their ideas and become rich. It is a very risky choice to make to become an Entrepreneur. Being an Entrepreneur is not a job. You don't get any type of income unless your product sells.

Medical Scientist

Duties and Responsibilities:

A biomedical scientist also known as a biomedical doctor or medical scientist or clinical laboratory scientist is a scientist trained in biology, particularly in the context of medicine.

Recreation Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recreational therapists typically do the following:

Assess patients' needs through observations, medical records, tests, and talking with other healthcare professionals, patients’ families, and patient. Create treatment plans and programs that meet patient's’ needs and interests. Plan and implement interventions to prevent harm to a patient. Engage patients in therapeutic activities, such as games and field trips. Help patients learn social skills needed to become or remain independent. Teach patients about ways to cope with anxiety or depression. Record and analyze a patient’s progress. Evaluate interventions for effectiveness.

Salary: $42,260 annually

Education: Most recreational therapists need a bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or a related field. Recreational therapists typically need a bachelor's degree.

Registered Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities:

A registered nurse or RN is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body in order to obtain a nursing license.

Salary:  $65,470 a year

Education: You need an associate's degree

Speech Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working Across All Levels  SLPs provide appropriate speech-language services in Pre-K, elementary, middle, junior high, and high schools with no school level underserved.Serving a Range of Disorders. Salary: Within a range of  $68,826-$81,619 a year

Education:  A license requires at least a master's degree and supervised clinical experience.

Demand for this profession: There is a high demand for speech pathologists in the U.S.

The 10 Indian Commandments

What these commandments mean to me are these are ways to increase your character. This is telling us how to be a good person in life. It's showing us that having good character in life is key. For them in order to be a good person and maintain good character they used to follow these ten commandments. In our society and religion we also have 10 commandments in which we follow in order to have good character. If you follow these commandments then you are a person of good and you choose the right 24/7. If they didn’t follow these commandments then they would be doing the right thing. Having good character is important to maintain a healthy relationship with others and also to do the right thing.

What this quote means to me is that what matters most in life is good character. If you have a good character than you will succeed and prosper in life. Whereas if you choose to have bad character than you will be miserable and have a bad life. Having good character makes you a better person to other people. It gives you life changing opportunities. You can be very successful if you choose to do the right thing. If you choose not to then you will be miserable and have a bad life.

“Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain,but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don’t do it.”-George Mitchell

What this quote is trying to say is that cheating isn't worth all the problems or worries it causes. So it's better not to cheat at all then to have to worry about the long term pain that comes with cheating. It is better to do the right thing and not cheat no matter what. If  you choose to cheat then all the glory that came with that one lie you made will be revoked. For example, George Mitchell talks about how steroids are bad and are for cheaters. Well if you get caught using steroids you might be incarcerated and also be revoked of anything you got with choosing to lie. You may also lose your life because of the drugs. If you want to be a good athlete you need to work hard for it and not cheat. There are no shortcuts in life. If things are easy in life then they are not worth having. The harder and more difficult things in life to earn are the ones worth having. It's better to earn them by not cheating.

What this quote means to me is that only the good people in the world are truly great. Even if you are great at certain thing if you aren't a good person than you are not truly great. You need to be able to have good character to be a truly great person. It is important to be a good person and not choose to do the wrong thing.

What this quote means to me is that you can only have freedom if you choose to do the right things in life. If you choose to do the wrong then your freedom will be revoked and you will lose many opportunities. If you do the right thing then you will have more opportunities in life and will have more freedom. For example, if you do the wrong thing and steal something then you can go to jail and lose your freedom. An example of choosing the right is when you have good grades then you will gain something you want whether it be more freedom or a phone or anything. Its better to do the right thing so you will have freedom.

What this quote means to me is that in order to succeed in life and live the life you want to live you first have to create it. You have to create it in your mind. You have to be able to visualize your future. Imagine yourself succeeding and living the life you want to live. This will help you plan your life and will help you achieve your goals in life. If you don't plan out your life and are not prepared for the future or upcoming obstacles then you are doomed to fail in life. If you imagine your future as a very successful and rich person then everyday of your life you will be preparing for the foreseeable future and achieving your goal little by little. If you don't then you will just be a failure in life.

Mitch Mcgee was a freshman who set a goal to make his father happy for and a moment and make him forget that he was diagnosed with a incurable cancer. He wanted to make his dad happy before he died of cancer. So everyday he would wake up every morning to lift weights and do exercise so that he could win the championships for wrestling. For lifting weights every day he finally won his first games and started to win more and more games. He had finally made it to championships. He was fighting one more person for the championships and won. He made his father happy and made him forget that he was even sick of cancer. What he realized though was that his father didn't need to see him win the championships for him to be happy and proud of his son because he was already proud of him.  

Spring Break

What I did for spring break was watch movies and sleep. I also went to the park and practiced trumpet with my music teacher. Another place I went was to Golden Corral as a special occasion because it was for my birthday. I also was doing a lot of extra credit for many of my classes. I watched a lot of movies such as Forest Gump, Across the Universe, Life of Pi, Drumline, Stand and Deliver, Dear Zachary,etc. I didn't really meet anyone new during the break I just talked to a lot of old friends and neighbors. I didn't watch or play any sports during the break. As for ctr experiences I read my journal and completed some of the goals I had. I re-read many of my old books such as Paper Towns, An Abundance of Katherines, The Fault in Our Stars, etc. Mostly John Green books. I also got to watch some of his crash course videos on youtube along with many other youtubers. I did a music therapy assignment for Ms Davis during the break for extra credit and also a documentary. Other than that I didn't really do much during the break other than watch youtube and relax.

What this quote means to me is that what we do today makes a difference in our future. If we choose to do something right then we will be rewarded and have the good life we want and desire. If you choose to do bad things then you will get in trouble and might even go to prison and have a miserable life. It's better to do the right thing instead of choosing to do the wrong thing because at the end of the day your future will count and depend on what you did that day. For example, if you rob someone and they catch you then you can get into serious trouble and that can affect you your whole life. If you choose the right thing then you can be successful and have the life you want in the future.

What this quote means to me is that to have a good heart. It doesn't matter if you're strong or rich or poor and weak. If you have a good heart then that's what really matters. If you show that you have a good heart then people will appreciate that and give you more  opportunities and help you when you need help. It is better to be poor and have a good heart then being rich and strong and having a bad heart. It's all about character you have to be able to treat others well so that you can have a good life. If you choose to treat others badly and choose to not do the right thing then you will have a miserable and sad life.

What this means to me is that to always do the right thing. If you do good things in life and follow your dreams then you will be rewarded in life. You also need to be able to work hard to achieve your dreams. It isn't always about what gets you money the quickest.Sometimes all you really need to do is follow your dreams and do what you want in life. You need to remember to have good character if you want good things out of life. If you do the wrong thing then you will not get rewarded. Be a CTR person and follow your dreams to be successful.

What this quote means to me is that whenever you are found on a position of making a decision you should always choose the right thing. If you are presented with a decision in which you have to choose a good or bad thing then you make the right decision. Choosing to do the right thing is good and makes you better as an individual. If you continue to choose the right thing then you will be used to always choosing the right thing and it'll become a habit. If you choose the bad decision then you will have repercussions of your actions. No one will trust you and you can end up in jail. Its always best to do the right thing.

Physically you might get something but mentally and emotionally you dont earn anything. When you do the right thing you have a good feeling inside for doing it.
