Duties and Responsibilities: 

An Oncologist is a doctor who treats patients with cancer. They do surgeries or prescribe medicine to the patients. They also perform chemotherapy to patients with severe cancer. They also use radiation to weaken or kill the tumor. They surgically remove the cancerous tumor and they give medication to weaken the tumor. 

Salary:  Between $222,809 - $351,598 annually

Education:  Completion of bachelor’s degree program
